Munza's Cure Cancer Campaign
At some stage in our lives we are all directly or indirectly affected by cancer. It may be a family member, a good friend or an acquaintance. I have lost both family members and friends to cancer and while I have been a regular donor to cancer fundraising efforts I now have the opportunity to have a larger impact – hopefully with your help.
I will be travelling to New York in November 2011 to run the New York Marathon as part of a contingent of charity runners who have all nominated a charity of their choice – I have chosen the Cure Cancer Foundation. The Foundation provides grants for research into curing cancer of all types rather than specific forms of cancer. For more details you can visit Cure Cancer website: http://www.cure.org.au/ )
My initial goal is to raise $15,000 and you are able to support me in one of three ways:
· Make a donation by clicking on the Green Donate Now Icon on the right
· Sponsor me for an amount per kilometer run – please email me with your pledge
· Attending upcoming events – please email me with your interest
As individuals we have little chance of finding a cure for cancer but as a group we can make a difference.
I would be grateful for any fund raising ideas or assistance you make be able to offer.
Regards
Tony Munro

Untold thousands of lives have already been saved as a result of research. However, one life lost to cancer is still one too many. Cure Cancer Australia will not give up on the fight until we can realise 'a world without cancer, nothing less. ' We simply couldn't continue our work without the support of people like you.
